My story starts like many of yours, I’m sure. as a teenager i had clear, blemish free skin. but that all changed  when I suddenly developed stubborn cystic adult acne. No matter what I did, it only seemed to get worse. When the inflammation
was at its peak, I could hardly sleep on my side from the pain. 

During that time, I became so self-conscious that I didn’t leave the house without plastering my face with makeup and even turning down plans, preferring to stay in the comfort and privacy of my own home. I visited several dermatologist in NJ and nyc whos advice consistently fell short or aggravated my acne even further. I was so desperate to get rid of it that I tried every over-the-counter product, which ended up doing more harm than good. all of those harsh chemicals only added fuel to the fire. 

In 2016, one of my dearest friends recommended her esthetician to me. I finally bit the bullet and committed to my treatments. At each session, my esthetician and I truly opened up to one another and became very close friends! We were beginning to see progress but it wasn’t until she really encouraged me to stop using anything that wasn’t specifically prescribed by her and her expertise that I really saw a return on my investment and my acne just seemed to melt away. By staying consistent with my professional skincare treatments and using the products she hand-selected just for me, my skin cleared up and my confidence was back stronger than ever. 


So, I understand what it’s like to scroll through retouched Instagram photos of influencers, wondering ‘how can I get my skin to look like that?’, trying to find solutions for the ultimate ‘perfect skin’, And avoiding your reflection in the mirror every morning because you feel betrayed by your own body.

This experience and relationship with my own esthetician was so profoundly eye-opening that I knew I had found my true calling in life – helping others feel beautiful in their skin and rediscovering their confidence that had slowly been chipped away. so, I took a major leap of faith, left my job in fashion e-commerce & digital merchandising for a major clothing company and enrolled myself in school to become a New Jersey state licensed esthetician.

After working in a large, well known spa for a number of years, I became a medical aesthetician at a very well sought after plastic surgery center where I was exposed to a different caliber of skincare treatments. Having worked on both ends of the spectrum in terms of skincare treatments, while dealing with my own adult acne, my passion to help others feel beautiful and nurtured had truly been ignited. This led me to give life to a skin studio of my very own where I could take my years of experience in the industry and create the ultimate, luxurious, yet down to earth spa experience where you can let your guard down and decompress in a judgement free zone.
